Let me first introduce myself: I’m Fin šŸ™‚

I’ll be posting a blog twice a week starting next week. My blog’s will be about yoga, ayurveda, and general health practices.

I want to start by explaining my why: I’m a current yoga teacher who’s in the process of becoming ayurveda certified. I’m passionate about educating people on healthy lifestyle habits. My goal is for Flow with Fin to become a community for people to learn about healthy living together.

The problem thatĀ my brand is looking to solveĀ is that thereā€™s not enough education about comprehensive health practices, only education on individual suggestions. Along with the lack of knowledge, community around healthy living isnā€™t prevalent. This blog is your all-encompassing health habit and lifestyle blog. From collecting intel through observation, Iā€™ve learned that people enjoy learning about new health practices with others. A community solely focused on healthy living is an important element of health accountability for Flow with Fin. My hope for the brand is to help others stay accountable.

The flow (play off of Flow with Fin) and ups and downs of life are natural. Helping consumers know that itā€™s normal to get off the health journey for small amounts of time is a vital element of my brand. My brand focuses on trying your best, holding yourself accountable- while ensuring you’re not pushing yourself too hard. From psychology – the all or nothing mindset involves fully committing to something for a period of time, then fully not committing for a period of time. Within Flow with Fin‘s community, I want to avoid this as much as possible.Ā  My brand depends on creating a positive feedback loop to healthy living. If you, as the consumer, donā€™t dwell on mistakes made, youā€™ll be able to create neurological pathways that will lead you back to your healthy lifestyle. In other words, the more you integrate healthy habits, the easier itā€™ll be to continue long term healthy living.

My end goal is for you to find and stick to your perfect, or imperfect in this case because we ebb and flow, healthy lifestyle. My content will be heavily focused on helping users come back to their healthy lifestyle habits. This element of accountability is a huge part of Flow with Fin. Ensuring users know their individual healthy journey will inspire others to find theirs.

Brand Promise: ā€œHeart disease is the number one cause of death in the U.S., letā€™s decrease that number togetherā€.

Our brand promise promotes a statistic that we want to emphasize. The ā€œtogetherā€ part of the brand promise encompasses connection among community. It also reflects the need or call to action to stick with your healthy lifestyle, not becoming part of the heart disease statistic.

The brand personality is positive, motivational, encouraging, accepting, and consistent. Consistency for Flow with Fin involves the consumers ability to flow back into their health journey even if they took a break- always being accepted by Flow with Fin. The hope for the brand is to lead you, as the consumer, back to your individual health journey and meet you where theyā€™re at. Acceptance among members of the community, including not creating a judgmental environment is something I need your help with. Please feel free to share your personal health journey and tag me!

Encouragement from the brand and from peers in the community goes hand in hand with consumer motivation.

Unlike traditional online health pages, Flow with Fin cultivates community through encouragement, accountability, and motivation through online connection methodsā€.

Flow with Fin’s brand tagline is ā€œTo bring us together through healthy livingā€. It conveys the message that the brand is hoping to portray: we need each other to hold us.
